The strip vial should be tightly shut and stored in a dry place. Do not keep the strips exposed to air or light for longer than necessary. The strips are most stable between a temperature of 2 to 30 degrees Celsius. If the room temperature is more than 30 degrees Celsius, then it is advisable to keep the strip vial in the fridge but do not freeze the strips, i.e, do not store strips in freezer compartment of a fridge. However, make sure that they are brought to room temperature before using them for a test.
